Enjet Aero, LLC seeks a CMM Programmer to support precision inspection of complex gas turbine engine components. In this on-site role, you will program and operate CMM equipment, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, and perform first article, in-process, and final inspections. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and production to resolve dimensional issues, support root cause analysis, and maintain high aerospace quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect complex aerospace components
  • Interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements for inspection plans
  • Develop, optimize, and document CMM programs to improve accuracy and throughput
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspection, recording precise measurement data
  • Troubleshoot dimensional issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams
  • Maintain calibration, upkeep, and basic troubleshooting of CMMs and related metrology tools
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts
  • Comply with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures for documentation and traceability

Required Skills

  • CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)
  • Coordinate metrology and dimensional inspection
  • GD&T interpretation and application
  • Reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and 3
  • D models
  • Use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, height gauges, indicators)
  • First article, in-process, and final inspection documentation
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving for dimensional issues
  • Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Basic CAD/CAM or model-based definition understanding
  • Data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets or quality software
