Enjet Aero, LLC seeks a CMM Programmer to support precision inspection of complex gas turbine engine components. In this on-site role, you will program and operate CMM equipment, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, and perform first article, in-process, and final inspections. Responsibilities
- Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect complex aerospace components
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements for inspection plans
- Develop, optimize, and document CMM programs to improve accuracy and throughput
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspection, recording precise measurement data
- Troubleshoot dimensional issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Maintain calibration, upkeep, and basic troubleshooting of CMMs and related metrology tools
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts
- Comply with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures for documentation and traceability
Required Skills
- CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)
- Coordinate metrology and dimensional inspection
- GD&T interpretation and application
- Reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and 3
- D models
- Use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, height gauges, indicators)
- First article, in-process, and final inspection documentation
- Root cause analysis and problem solving for dimensional issues
- Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems
- Basic CAD/CAM or model-based definition understanding
- Data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets or quality software
