CDL Driver

ElectriCom is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support utility construction projects in power, telecommunications, and broadband. In this field-based role, you will transport crews, equipment, and materials to overhead and underground job sites while following DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, safe operation in work zones, documentation, and assisting with loading/unloading. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL vehicle to transport materials, equipment, and crews to construction sites
• Support power, telecom, and broadband utility construction projects
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
• Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety rules and procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation
• Assist crews with loading/unloading and staging materials when needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews
• Report equipment issues, hazards, and incidents promptly
• Adhere to project schedules and routes while meeting quality standards

Required Skills

• Commercial driving (CDL Class A or B)
• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance
• DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance
• Load securement and material handling
• Reading and following route/schedule instructions
• Defensive driving and safe operation in work zones

• Radio/phone communication with dispatch and crews
