CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist

EMT International seeks a CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist to produce precision components for high-speed web processing and finishing equipment. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, interpret blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision components for web processing and finishing equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machining operations and tolerances
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding; verify proper machine offsets and parameters
• Monitor machining operations, inspect parts using precision measuring tools, and adjust programs or tooling as needed
• Perform basic CNC program edits and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain quality and productivity
• Follow safety procedures and standard work instructions in a lean, continuous-improvement environment
• Complete required documentation, quality checks, and production reporting accurately and on time
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues and improve processes
