Production Supervisor

Electric Materials Co, a leader in precision electrical components since 1915, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This role oversees production teams, schedules, and workflow to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery for rail, power, and mining customers. You will coordinate resources, monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and resolve shop-floor issues. The supervisor partners with engineering, quality, and maintenance, coaches team members, and supports innovation-focused initiatives in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily safety, quality, and delivery targets
• Plan and adjust production schedules, staffing, and resources to meet customer demand
• Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and company policies on the shop floor
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and problem-solving tools
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees, supporting skill development and cross-training
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and system data in ERP/MRPSupport implementation of new processes, equipment, and technologies
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation in the facility
