Director of Construction and Facilities

Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking a Director of Construction and Facilities to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our facilities and construction initiatives across a technology-driven environment. In this role, you will oversee multi-site construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with IT infrastructure, operational needs, and growth plans. You will manage budgets, vendors, and contracts while driving safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. Partnering closely with technology and business leaders, you will design scalable, efficient spaces that support innovation, reliability, and a modern, inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, construction, and renovation of company facilities and IT-enabled infrastructure
• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance for construction and maintenance projects
• Develop and manage capital and operating budgets for facilities and construction programs
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, zoning, and building regulations
• Coordinate with IT and operations to align facility design with technology and business needs
• Implement facility maintenance programs and lifecycle asset management
• Manage project timelines, risk, and quality control across multiple sites
• Direct and mentor internal facilities staff and external project teams
• Optimize space utilization, energy efficiency, and reliability of critical facilities
• Report project status, KPIs, and long-term facilities strategy to senior leadership
