Cashier

Aramark is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Cashier to join our team in the Food & Beverage Operations department. As a frontline ambassador for Aramark, this role is crucial in upholding our commitment to excellence and innovation in customer service. The Cashier will handle transactions and interact with customers at our various food service locations within educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and workplace settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and POS systems proficiently to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, pricing, and promotions to answer customer inquiries and provide recommendations.
• Ensure the checkout area is always clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in the setup and break down of the service area as needed.
• Handle cash, credit, and other transaction types while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and thanking customers as well as resolving any customer concerns with professionalism.
• Participate in inventory control and report any discrepancies to the management.
