Crew Leader

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Crew Leader - Tree Care to supervise commercial tree care operations on construction and landscape projects. Lead a small crew in pruning, removals, planting, and storm clean-up while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and customer standards. Operate and direct use of chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and related equipment. Read work orders, organize daily tasks, and communicate with supervisors and clients on job progress. Train and mentor crew members, enforce safety protocols, and complete basic paperwork. Enjoy steady, outdoor work with clear paths for advancement in landscape and tree care management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a tree care crew on commercial projects
• Perform and direct pruning, removals, planting, and storm clean-up
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and related tree equipment
• Plan daily work based on work orders and project priorities
• Monitor and enforce strict safety protocols and PPE use
• Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with company standards
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members' performance
• Communicate job status with supervisors and clients as needed
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working order
• Complete basic paperwork, logs, and incident reports
