Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Service Director to lead our automotive service department within a performance-driven, customer-focused environment. You will own fixed operations results, driving profitability, CSI, and retention while ensuring high-quality repairs and efficient shop performance. Responsibilities include leading and developing a high-performing service team, managing P&L, optimizing service drive and technician productivity, and ensuring OEM, safety, and warranty compliance. You will champion integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and support career growth through training, coaching, and cross-dealership collaboration across our leading automotive brands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the service department to achieve volume, CSI, and profitability targets.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L for fixed operations.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture, ensuring timely, high-quality repairs and transparent communication.
  • Optimize service drive, scheduling, and shop workflow for efficiency and technician productivity.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, warranty processes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with parts, sales, and collision teams to maximize cross-departmental performance.
  • Monitor KPIs, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and report results to dealership leadership.
