Tire Technician

Discount Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to join our Automotive team. In this role, you'll install, balance, rotate, and repair tires while ensuring safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service. You'll inspect vehicles, maintain a clean work area, and assist with inventory. Responsibilities

• Safely mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger vehicles and light trucks according to Discount Tire standards
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety issues, clearly communicating findings to the service team and customers
• Assist customers in the service area by answering basic questions about tire condition, recommended services, and safety considerations
• Support accurate documentation of services performed and follow store procedures for work orders and vehicle flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly cleaning bays, tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of lifts, jacks, and protective equipment, to ensure personal and team safety
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and store staff to meet customer demand and minimize wait times in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop tire, wheel, and basic automotive service knowledge and prepare for future growth opportunities within Discount Tire
