Discount Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to join our Automotive team. In this role, you'll install, repair, rotate, and balance tires while providing excellent customer service. No experience? We offer paid training to help you build skills and confidence. You'll inspect vehicles for tire safety, follow all safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Responsibilities

  • Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on passenger and light truck vehicles according to Discount Tire procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections related to tires, wheels, and tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), and report any safety concerns to senior technicians or store leadership.
  • Operate lifts, jacks, torque wrenches, impact tools, and computerized balancing equipment safely and correctly after paid training is completed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service bay and shop area, following all company, OSHA, and industry safety guidelines at all times.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service by answering basic questions about tire options, services, and safety, and by clearly explaining work performed.
  • Accurately follow work orders, document services completed, and assist with staging vehicles to support an efficient workflow in the store.
  • Participate in paid on-the-job training, coaching, and skill-building sessions to advance from entry-level Tire Technician to higher skill and responsibility levels.
  • Collaborate with teammates and store leadership to meet daily service goals while supporting Discount Tire's commitment to customer satisfaction and quality work.
