Senior Automotive Technician

Sun Auto Tire & Service seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop. You'll handle complex drivability concerns, brake and suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance while ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy on every job. Senior techs mentor junior technicians, support continuous training, and communicate clearly with service advisors to deliver honest recommendations and a trustworthy repair experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diverse vehicle makes and models
• Troubleshoot complex drivability, electrical, brake, and suspension issues
• Complete accurate inspections and provide honest repair recommendations
• Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices
• Follow all safety, quality, and shop compliance standards
• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and, when needed, customers
• Maintain clean, organized work bays and properly document all work performed
