Packaging Operator

Cargill is seeking a Packaging Operator in Slidell to support its manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate packaging of food and industrial products. You will perform quality checks, document production data, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. The position requires adherence to strict safety and food safety standards, routine cleaning of equipment and work areas, and collaboration with team members. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment
• Perform in-process quality checks and record results
• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP procedures
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and packaging issues
• Handle, label, and palletize finished products
• Complete production and inventory documentation accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
• Communicate issues and collaborate with team members
• Support changeovers and basic equipment adjustments
• Follow instructions from supervisors and shift leads
