Automotive Master Technician/Mechanic

Tire Outlet is seeking an Automotive Master Technician/Mechanic to deliver expert diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for everyday drivers in our busy Jacksonville shops. In this role you'll handle everything from tires, brakes, and alignments to advanced drivability and electrical issues. You'll use modern diagnostic equipment, follow safety procedures, and ensure every vehicle leaves safe and reliable. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
• Conduct advanced diagnostics using scan tools to identify drivability and electrical issues
• Mount, balance, and install new tires, ensuring proper fit and safety standards
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly and document findings and recommended repairs
• Follow company and manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards at all times
• Support and mentor junior technicians and help maintain a clean, organized shop
• Communicate clearly with service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and customer updates
• Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high quality workmanship
• Pursue ongoing training and ASE certifications to stay current with evolving automotive technology
