Marvin is seeking a Director, Facilities Engineering to lead the strategy, operation, and reliability of building and utility systems across our manufacturing facilities. This role oversees HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations that support production. The director will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage capital projects and maintenance programs, drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, and partner with operations, safety, and engineering to enable growth. Ideal candidates bring strong technical depth, leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facilities engineering strategy and daily operations for manufacturing plants
  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building systems to ensure reliability and uptime
  • Plan and execute capital projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical assets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes and standards
  • Manage facilities engineering budget, vendors, and service contracts
  • Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coach and develop a high-performing facilities engineering and maintenance team
  • Partner with operations, EHS, and manufacturing engineering to support production needs
  • Use data and KPIs to prioritize investments and improve facility performance
