Locums CRNA No Call Hershey, PA Why This Role Flexible 10- or 12-hour shifts No call, cardiac, OB, or block responsibilities Broad case mix within a large academic medical center Anesthesiologists and other anesthesia providers on-site Cerner EMR Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: December 31, 2026 Shift Options: 10 hours: 8:30 AM Äì7:00 PM 12 hours: 6:30 AM Äì7:00 PM Thursday 12-hour shifts begin at 7:00 AM Call: None Practice Model: Medical direction CRNA-to-Anesthesiologist Ratio: Approximately 2:1 or 3:1 Guaranteed Hours: None Overtime: Must receive prior departmental approval EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Unavailable Nearest Airport: Harrisburg International Airport Requirements NBCRNA-certified CRNA Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC is not accepted At least two years of CRNA experience Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS References required at presentation Ability to work with pediatric patients ages five and older DEA not required for CRNAs in Pennsylvania Ability to begin independently following credentialing and orientation Clinical Details Case mix includes: General surgery Orthopedics and trauma Plastics and robotic surgery Neurosurgery, including head and spine Pediatrics ages five and older Thoracic surgery excluding open-heart cases Endoscopy, NORA, gynecology, and ENT Provide general, spinal, and monitored anesthesia care Complete pre-anesthetic evaluations, informed consent, and postoperative assessments Perform airway and ventilation management Manage acute volume and blood-pressure concerns Place central and arterial lines as needed No cardiac, obstetric, neonatal, or regional block cases No CRNA supervision responsibilities
