CDL Driver

Capital Waste Services LLC is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to safely operate residential and commercial waste collection trucks across assigned routes. In this role, you'll complete pre- and post-trip inspections, follow all DOT and company safety policies, and ensure timely, courteous service to customers. You'll work closely with helpers and dispatch to handle waste, recyclables, and containers, documenting services and reporting issues. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL waste collection trucks on assigned residential and commercial routes
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Load, transport, and unload waste and recyclables according to route plans
• Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding route status and issues
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and address basic concerns
• Accurately complete required logs, tickets, and service documentation
• Maintain clean, organized truck and equipment
• Support helpers and team members in safe lifting and handling practices
• Report route hazards, incidents, and service disruptions promptly

Required Skills

• CDL Class B or A driving
• Operation of rear-load or front-load waste trucks
