CDL-A Driver

Riverhead Building Supply Corp., a leading Northeast supplier of lumber and building materials, is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support our busy wholesale and delivery operations. In this role, you will safely operate CDL-A trucks to deliver lumber, hardware, and custom millwork to residential and commercial job sites. You'll load, secure, and unload materials, verify orders, and represent our culture of reliability, teamwork, and customer focus with every delivery. You'll work closely with dispatch, sales, and yard teams, gaining exposure to construction professionals and building materials in a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A trucks to deliver building materials to job sites and customer locations
• Load, secure, and unload lumber, hardware, and building supplies using proper equipment and techniques
• Verify orders, delivery documents, and materials for accuracy before and after delivery
• Follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures and conduct pre/post trip inspections
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to contractors and homeowners on site
• Coordinate with dispatch, yard, and sales teams to optimize routes and on-time deliveries
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, report maintenance needs, and document any incidents or delays
• Assist in yard operations as needed, including stocking, staging, and organizing materials
