Floor Technician

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety in the environments we service, such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and corporate spaces. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and comprehensive maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing
• Use industrial floor care machines and select the appropriate cleaning materials for different types of flooring
• Inspect floors for damage and perform minor repairs as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations, and use protective equipment as required
• Assist in the setup and take-down of flooring for special events
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages to management
• Manage time efficiently to cover all assigned areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide progress updates and reports

Required Skills

• Proficiency in operating floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and scrubbers
• Knowledge of different cleaning chemicals and their appropriate use
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards
