Vice President Field Services

Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a Vice President Field Services to lead our growing service organization supporting industrial compressed air and vacuum systems. This role oversees field service operations, safety, scheduling, and customer satisfaction across the Midwest. You will build and mentor a high-performing technician team, drive service quality and profitability, and partner with sales on turnkey solutions. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership in industrial or manufacturing services, a focus on safety and craftsmanship, and a hands-on, customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow field service operations for compressed air and vacuum systems across the Midwest region.
• Manage, coach, and develop field technicians and service managers to ensure high-quality work and safety.
• Oversee service scheduling, dispatch, and resource planning to meet customer needs and SLAs.
• Drive service profitability, budgeting, and P&L performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards in all field work.
• Partner with sales and projects teams to scope, price, and deliver turnkey compressor and vacuum solutions.
• Improve service processes, KPIs, and reporting to increase efficiency and response times.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Support recruiting, training, and onboarding of service staff to sustain growth.
• Represent field services in executive planning and strategic initiatives.
