Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join their established outpatient practice in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fully integrated non-profit healthcare system committed to provider well-being. The position involves delivering comprehensive psychiatric and addiction services as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a full continuum of patient care.

Practice Info

  • Join an established outpatient practice in Albuquerque, NM
  • Part of a full-service Behavioral Medicine Program with adult and child/adolescent inpatient units, multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, emergency and consultative services, and embedded primary care behavioral medicine services
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, psychologists, therapists, psychiatric social workers, and registered nurses
  • Outpatient therapy support, including a variety of treatment modalities
  • See 12-15 patients per day after ramp up
  • Administrative and nursing support for outpatient clinical practice

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full continuum of psychiatric and addiction services for adults, children, and geriatric patients
  • Provide Emergency Department consultation service across the enterprise
  • Participate in call rotation

Compensation

  • Nationally competitive salary from $255,000 a year
  • Relocation allowance available

Shift & Schedule

  • Call rotation includes one weekend routine every other month
  • Call rotation includes two nights' pager call per month

Requirements

  • Must be BC/BE in Psychiatry
  • Outstanding patient care qualities
  • Highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
  • Patient-focused, collaborative, and team oriented
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
  • J-1 visa sponsorship available
  • Open to visa sponsorship
