What You ll Do
  • Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures in adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical and spinal surgeries
  • Perform spinal and infiltration anesthesia as needed
  • Monitor ventilation and respiratory status throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams under supervision
  • Maintain continuous patient monitoring pre-, intra-, and post-operation
  • Document all procedures using Epic EMR
  • Respond to emergencies, including airway management and intubation when necessary
  • Support operating room teams across multiple rooms with rotating assignments
What You Need
  • Valid state license for Michigan
  • Experience with general surgical cases; neurosurgical experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently within supervised roles
  • Excellent patient monitoring and emergency response skills
About the Assignment
This assignment is based at a hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center, providing around 50 surgical cases daily. You will join a dedicated anesthesia team supporting a range of procedures, contributing to patient safety and high-quality care in a busy hospital environment. The facility emphasizes collaboration and professionalism, supporting your efforts to deliver optimal anesthesia services in a fast-paced setting.
