Mid Kansas Cooperative (MKC) seeks a CDL Driver to safely transport grain, feed, agronomy inputs, and energy products between MKC locations and customer sites across central Kansas. In this role you will operate late-model CDL equipment, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and follow all DOT, safety, and MKC policies. You will assist with loading and unloading, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and provide courteous, professional service to producers and members. Seasonal overtime, hands-on training, and advancement opportunities are available in MKC's team-focused, safety-driven cooperative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL truck to haul grain, feed, agronomy inputs, and energy products between MKC locations and customer sites
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, MKC safety standards, and hours-of-service requirements
  • Assist with loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and follow proper load securement practices
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, tickets, and required regulatory documentation
  • Provide professional, courteous service to producers and customers, representing MKC's values
  • Support facility operations during peak seasons, including overtime and varied hours as needed
  • Communicate with dispatch and supervisors to optimize routes and on-time delivery
  • Keep truck and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition
  • Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training to improve performance and reduce risk
