HVAC Technician

Breen & Sullivan Mechanical Services Inc., a Massachusetts-based mechanical contractor, is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. In this hands-on field role, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance, interpret blueprints, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis on mechanical and control issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, filter changes, and system tune-ups
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete installations and repairs
• Charge, evacuate, and recover refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other technicians on job planning and execution
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Provide professional, customer-focused service and communicate findings and options to clients
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with HVAC technologies and best practices
