Goodwin Motor Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our family-owned dealership team in Maine. In this role, you will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and complete multi-point inspections while ensuring high-quality, efficient work. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, follow OEM and dealership standards, and accurately document all repairs. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using scan tools and test equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services
  • Complete multi-point inspections and accurately document findings and recommendations
  • Follow OEM and dealership repair procedures and quality standards
  • Write clear notes on repair orders, including parts used and work performed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
  • Collaborate with service advisors and parts staff to ensure timely, accurate repairs
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving vehicle technology and systems
