Bilingual Teacher

La Causa, Inc. seeks a Bilingual Teacher to inspire and support K-8 students in a culturally responsive, dual-language environment. The teacher plans and delivers standards-based instruction in English and Spanish, differentiates for diverse learners, and incorporates social-emotional and trauma-informed practices. This role collaborates closely with families, social service teams, and community partners to meet academic and behavioral needs. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver bilingual K-8 classroom instruction aligned to curriculum standards
• Differentiate lessons to support diverse learning styles and language levels
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with families, social services, and support staff to address student needs
• Create a culturally responsive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Integrate social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Support school-wide initiatives that promote equity and academic success
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians in English and Spanish
• Contribute to La Causa's mission of serving underserved and Latino communities
