CDL-B Boom Truck Driver

Riverhead Building Supply Corp. seeks a CDL-B Boom Truck Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this on-site role, you will safely operate a CDL-B boom truck to deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites. Responsibilities include loading, securing, lifting, and unloading materials, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, following DOT and company safety standards, and maintaining accurate delivery records. You'll interact with customers and job-site crews, representing RBS's commitment to teamwork, safety, and excellent service while supporting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-B boom truck to deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely load, secure, lift, and unload materials using boom equipment and forklifts
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations, maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Interact professionally with customers and site personnel, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
• Coordinate with dispatch and yard teams to optimize routes and delivery schedules
• Assist in yard operations, including material staging and inventory support as needed
• Represent RBS values of teamwork, safety, and excellent customer service on every delivery
