Before and After School Program Teacher

The YMCA is seeking a caring Before and After School Program Teacher to support youth in a safe, engaging environment. You will lead age-appropriate activities, homework help, games, and enrichment programs that promote social, emotional, and physical development. Responsibilities include supervising groups of children, modeling positive behavior, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and building strong relationships with families and school partners. Responsibilities

• Supervise children before and after school in a safe, inclusive environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Provide homework support and enrichment that promotes learning
• Model positive behavior and support social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians
• Follow YMCA policies and safety procedures, including emergency protocols
• Collaborate with school staff and YMCA team members
• Set up, clean, and organize program spaces and materials
• Support the YMCA mission, values, and commitment to diversity and inclusion
