Ben's Structural Fabrication Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our hands-on metal fabrication team. In this role, you'll weld, fit, and assemble structural steel, stairs, railings, and custom metalwork for commercial, industrial, and residential projects across New England. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, executing high-quality welds in shop and field settings, assisting with on-site installation, and maintaining safe, clean work practices. Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, stick, and flux core welding on structural steel and miscellaneous metals in shop and field environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements to fabricate components accurately
  • Fit, assemble, and weld structural members, stairs, railings, and custom metalwork to specifications
  • Assist with on-site installation of structural steel, stairs, railings, and other fabricated assemblies
  • Inspect welds and finished products for quality, alignment, and structural integrity; make necessary adjustments or repairs
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, torches, and ironworkers safely and efficiently
  • Follow all shop and site safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with fabricators, installers, and supervisors to meet project schedules and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools, materials, and equipment
  • Continuously develop welding and fabrication skills, seeking feedback and supporting team members as needed
