Controller

Larson Manufacturing, a leader in the storm door and window market, is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee our financial operations. The Controller will be an integral part of our finance team, driving financial strategy and accountability throughout the company. With a legacy of innovation and quality since 1954, Larson Manufacturing requires a forward-thinking individual who can balance financial risk and opportunity effectively. This role involves financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with all regulatory laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and lead departmental staff, motivating and supporting their professional development

Required Skills

• Expertise in standard accounting software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Quickbooks
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams
