Director, Teen Leadership & Engagement

Sid Jacobson JCC seeks a Director, Teen Leadership & Engagement to design and lead innovative Jewish teen programs that build leadership, identity, and community. This role oversees year-round teen initiatives, including service-learning, social action, wellness, and recreational experiences. The Director will recruit and mentor teens, supervise part-time staff and volunteers, manage budgets, and cultivate parent, school, and community partnerships. Collaborating across departments, the Director ensures inclusive, welcoming programs aligned with the JCC's mission and Jewish values, and evaluates outcomes to strengthen engagement and impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate teen leadership and engagement programs rooted in Jewish values
• Recruit, mentor, and retain diverse teens, fostering leadership development and community building
• Supervise, train, and schedule part-time staff, counselors, and volunteers supporting teen programs
• Develop and manage program budgets, registration goals, and reporting metrics
• Cultivate partnerships with parents, schools, synagogues, and community organizations
• Coordinate service-learning, social action, wellness, and recreational initiatives for teens
• Ensure programs are inclusive, welcoming, and aligned with Sid Jacobson JCC's mission and culture
• Collaborate with other JCC departments to integrate teen programming across the organization
• Oversee program marketing content in collaboration with communications staff
• Track participation, collect feedback, and use data to improve program quality and impact
