RAMS Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our Construction - Skilled Labor team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial facilities, ensuring all work meets NEC, local codes, and safety standards. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing upgrades, and collaborating with general contractors and other trades. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in new construction and renovation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams to plan and execute electrical layouts
  • Run, bend, and install conduit (EMT, rigid, flexible) and pull wire and cable to specification
  • Install and terminate panels, switchgear, transformers, receptacles, lighting, and associated devices
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems using meters, testers, and other tools
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company standards
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements, maintaining a safe, clean job site
  • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, general contractors, and other trades to meet project schedules
  • Document work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered using company forms or mobile apps
  • Mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians by demonstrating proper techniques and safe work practices
