Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum aligned with early learning standards
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring health, safety, and positive behavior guidance
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress, daily activities, and any concerns
• Observe, document, and assess children's development to inform instruction and support individual needs
• Collaborate with coworkers to plan activities, share ideas, and maintain a consistent, supportive program
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
• Prepare instructional materials, learning centers, and hands-on activities to engage young learners
• Support smooth daily routines including meals, rest time, transitions, and outdoor play
