Inventory Planner

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc, a leader in high-quality cable carriers, flexible cables, conveyor and machine protection systems, seeks an Inventory Planner to optimize stock for our manufacturing operations. In this team-oriented, continuous-improvement culture, you will forecast demand, set inventory parameters, and balance service levels with cost. Partner with production, purchasing, and sales to ensure materials are available for on-time delivery. Analyze usage and trends, adjust safety stock and reorder points, and maintain accurate ERP data to support efficient, reliable production.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and plan inventory to meet customer and production demand
• Monitor stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points to prevent shortages and excess
• Analyze usage, lead times, and trends to improve inventory accuracy and turns
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales to align supply with demand
• Maintain and optimize ERP/MRP inventory parameters and item data
• Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for management review
• Identify and drive continuous improvement in inventory processes
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes from an inventory perspective
