Year Up is seeking participants for the Business Foundations JOB Training Opportunity, designed to bridge the opportunity divide. Our one-year program equips participants with critical business and professional skills through academic learning and hands-on internships. This program, tailored for young adults, focuses not only on business fundamentals but also incorporates personal mentorship and development to prepare you for successful careers. Participants will benefit from collaborations with top companies and gain the skills necessary to thrive in various business environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend structured classes and training sessions to learn business fundamentals including, but not limited to, marketing, finance, and management.
• Participate in internships with Year Up's corporate partners to gain real-world experience.
• Engage with mentors and career development advisors to set personal goals and discuss career paths.
• Complete projects and assignments that demonstrate the application of learned business concepts.
• Partake in career development workshops that include resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
