Business Foundations Career Training Program

Year Up is seeking a Business Foundations Career Training Program Coordinator to join our mission-driven organization. This role is pivotal in bridging the opportunity gap for young adults. The program coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of our one-year intensive training program that combines essential business academics with real-world internship experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education equity and have a robust understanding of business concepts and administrative skills. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and foster a collaborative environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum and educational materials for the Business Foundations program.
• Coordinate with corporate partners to secure internship placements and engagement opportunities.
• Lead recruitment and selection of program participants.
• Monitor and report on the progress of participants, providing support and guidance to ensure their success.
• Manage partnerships with educational and corporate entities to enhance program offerings.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and other educational activities.
• Assess the effectiveness of the training programs and make improvements as needed.
