Litigation Paralegal

Bennett Tueller Johnson & Deere, a respected Salt Lake City business law firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support complex business, real estate, and related disputes. The paralegal will manage cases from intake through trial, including drafting pleadings and discovery, coordinating document collection and review, and handling state and federal court filings. You will work closely with partners and associates, interact with clients, and play a key role in deposition and trial preparation within a professional, collaborative, and mentorship-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses for attorney review
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document collection, review, and production
• Conduct legal and factual research; summarize records, depositions, and evidence
• Prepare and file documents in Utah state and federal courts, including e-filing
• Maintain case files, calendars, and critical deadlines using case management tools
• Assist with deposition, hearing, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness files
• Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel professionally
• Organize and analyze business and real estate documents relevant to disputes
