Good Home Comfort, LLC is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems across local Michigan homes. In this field-based role, you'll handle furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and IAQ products, performing accurate troubleshooting, clean repairs, and preventive maintenance. You'll communicate clearly with homeowners, explain options, and ensure safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and IAQ systems
  • Perform seasonal tune-ups, safety checks, and preventive maintenance
  • Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to identify system issues accurately
  • Explain findings, options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners
  • Install and replace components such as motors, capacitors, contactors, and controls
  • Charge, recover, and handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA 608 requirements
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle, tools, and work areas
  • Follow all safety, code, and company standards with integrity and professionalism
  • Collaborate with team members and office staff to ensure timely, reliable service
