Residential Peer Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Utilize personal recovery experience to serve as a role model of recovery for peers.
• Support residents in the development and achievement of their personal recovery goals.
• Participate in the creation and facilitation of group therapy and activities.
• Provide peer counseling and support to enhance the clinical and holistic care provided to residents.
• Assist in the navigation of health and social services systems to support resident's needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal standards of care.
• Document interactions and observations with residents accurately and timely.
