CDL A Tanker and Hazmat Driver

The Briar Team, a leading Cleveland construction firm, is seeking a CDL A Tanker and Hazmat Driver to support commercial and residential projects. In this role, you will safely transport fuels and other hazardous materials to and from job sites, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs, and adhering to all DOT and hazmat regulations. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries that keep projects on schedule. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tanker trucks transporting hazardous materials to and from construction sites
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations at all times
• Secure and monitor loads, following proper transfer and unloading procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery records, and inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and site personnel
• Follow company safety policies and participate in safety meetings and training
• Report mechanical issues and coordinate basic maintenance with fleet support
