Match Education seeks a High School Special Education Teacher to join our mission-driven Boston charter network. In the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you'll deliver rigorous, individualized instruction and intensive academic support to students with IEPs in small classes. You will design data-informed lessons, collaborate with general educators, and maintain close partnerships with families. Our student-centered, equity-focused culture offers strong coaching, opportunities to innovate, and professional growth within our teacher residency-minded environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver standards-aligned special education instruction for high school students with IEPs
  • Differentiate lessons and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and goals
  • Implement and monitor IEPs, progress-monitoring, and data-informed interventions
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to co-plan and co-teach
  • Communicate regularly with families, building strong, trust-based partnerships
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal and state special education regulations
  • Provide intensive academic support, tutoring, and small-group instruction
  • Use assessment data to adjust instruction and support continuous student growth
  • Participate in professional development, coaching, and the Match Teacher Residency culture
  • Contribute to a mission-driven, equity-focused school environment
