Account Manager

Marshall and Sterling Inc seeks an experienced Account Manager to join our Insurance Sales & Business Development team. In this client-facing role, you'll manage a book of commercial and personal insurance accounts, build and deepen client relationships, and deliver tailored risk management solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting new business, preparing quotes and proposals, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring timely renewals. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to provide exceptional service, resolve coverage issues, and identify cross sell opportunities. Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned book of commercial and personal insurance accounts
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and review meetings
• Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management solutions
• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within target markets
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and coverage comparisons for new and renewal business
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage with insurance carriers and underwriters
• Coordinate application, underwriting, binding, and policy issuance processes
• Ensure timely and accurate policy renewals, endorsements, and account documentation
• Collaborate with internal service teams to resolve client issues and service requests
• Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across lines of coverage
