Hope Services, a mission-driven non-profit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, is seeking a Job Coach. In this role, you will support adults with developmental disabilities to obtain and maintain meaningful community employment. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and group job coaching, teaching job skills and workplace behavior, collaborating with employers, documenting progress, and advocating for inclusive work environments. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and group job coaching to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community and workplace settings
- Assess client strengths, interests, and support needs to develop individualized employment plans
- Train clients in job tasks, workplace expectations, communication, and appropriate social behaviors
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to support successful job placement and retention
- Monitor client progress, document services, and prepare timely reports and case notes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, families, and external agencies to coordinate services
- Advocate for client workplace accommodations and inclusive employment practices
- Provide on-the-job problem solving, coaching, and crisis intervention as needed
- Facilitate job readiness workshops, interview preparation, and soft skills training
- Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and agency meetings
