Youth Development Specialist

Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Development Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing the mental health and emotional well-being of children and adolescents within our community. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging programs that promote positive mental health and emotional growth for youth.
• Conduct individual and group sessions using evidence-based techniques to assist young clients in overcoming mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to create a supportive network that facilitates holistic development.
• Assess the needs of youths and plan appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of client progress and adjustments to care plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in youth mental health services.
