Mission Critical Group is seeking a skilled Tank Welder to support mission-critical infrastructure and data center projects. In this role, you will perform structural and pressure-vessel welding on tanks and related components using SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW processes. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, executing high-quality welds on carbon and stainless steel, performing fit-up and layout, and conducting basic weld inspection and repairs. You'll collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to meet strict safety, quality, and schedule requirements while working within a performance-driven, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural and pressure-vessel welding on tanks and related components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols for fabrication and repairs
- Execute SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welds on carbon and stainless steel
- Conduct fit-up, layout, and preparation of materials prior to welding
- Inspect welds visually and with basic NDT tools as required and perform repairs
- Follow strict safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site protocols
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on project execution
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working order
- Document work performed and support quality control and project reporting
Required Skills
