Volvo Automotive Technician

Carter Myers Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Volvo Automotive Technician to join our Virginia dealership team. In this on-site role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Volvo vehicles, performing inspections, warranty work, and preventative maintenance to factory standards. You'll use OEM diagnostic tools, document all repairs, and collaborate with advisors to ensure accurate estimates and timely service. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Volvo vehicles to OEM and dealership standards
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Complete warranty and recall repairs according to guidelines
• Use OEM and advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues
• Accurately document all findings, repairs, and parts used
• Communicate with service advisors on repair status and estimates
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and quality-control procedures
• Participate in ongoing Volvo and dealership training programs
• Support a customer-focused service experience
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
