The Ground Person supports paving and construction crews with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and basic equipment support. Responsibilities include shoveling, raking, spotting trucks, setting up work zones, and following strict safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Assist paving and construction crews with daily site operations
• Perform shoveling, raking, and material handling around equipment
• Spot and direct trucks and equipment safely within work zones
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control and safety barricades
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Conduct basic equipment checks and report issues to supervisors
• Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Support special projects and tasks as assigned by foreman
