PROJECT MANAGER

Year Up is seeking a Project Management Training Program Instructor to join our dedicated team in empowering young adults to succeed in their careers. As a nonprofit focused on bridging the opportunity divide, Year Up offers a unique environment where the chosen candidate will facilitate project management courses. The instructor will design curricula reflecting real-world demands, guide students through interactive lessons and ensure they are equipped with PM skills to excel in corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive project management curriculum aligning with industry standards.
• Conduct engaging classroom and online sessions for varied student groups.
• Guide students in practical project management tools and methodologies.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with corporate partners to align course content with market needs.
• Facilitate student mastery of PM software like MS Project and Asana.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of PM frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM).
• Proficient in PM tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at curriculum development and adult learning principles.
