Middle School Arts Teacher

Match Education seeks a Middle School Arts Teacher to deliver rigorous, engaging arts instruction in a mission-driven Boston charter network. The teacher will design and implement standards-aligned, culturally responsive arts lessons; use data to drive instruction; and provide intensive academic and creative support. Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, maintaining strong family partnerships, and contributing to performances and school events. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging middle school visual and/or performing arts instruction aligned to standards and school curriculum
• Develop rigorous, culturally responsive lesson plans and assessments that build artistic skills and creativity
• Use data to track student progress and adjust instruction, providing intensive support where needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts into core subjects and support whole-school initiatives
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and ways to support learning at home
• Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom and studio environment
• Participate in professional development, coaching, and the teacher residency culture of continuous improvement
• Contribute to school events, performances, and exhibitions showcasing student work
