Electrician

This position involves working on diverse projects within commercial, industrial, residential, and service sectors. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Conduct tests and assessments on electrical systems, including continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and building codes.
• Prepare and maintain records detailing all services, equipment, and inventory used.

Required Skills

• Proven ability in the installation of electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools (wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Detail-oriented with strong adherence to safety protocols
