Commercial Spray Painter

SJS Executives LLC seeks a Commercial Spray Painter to support federal and commercial facilities projects. The painter will prepare and repair surfaces, mix and apply industrial and protective coatings using spray systems, and ensure durable, high-quality finishes on interior and exterior structures. Responsibilities include reading work orders, masking and taping, operating lifts and scaffolding, and maintaining spray equipment. The role requires strict adherence to OSHA and site safety standards, working efficiently on mission-critical projects, and collaborating with supervisors and trades to meet schedule and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and repair commercial surfaces for painting and coating
• Mix, match, and apply industrial and protective coatings by spray
• Set up, operate, and maintain HVLP and airless spray equipment
• Read and follow work orders, specs, and safety procedures
• Mask, tape, and protect surrounding areas to prevent overspray
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts safely
• Inspect completed work for coverage, adhesion, and finish quality
• Follow OSHA, site, and company safety policies, including PPE use
• Maintain clean work areas and complete basic job documentation
• Coordinate with supervisors and trades to meet schedule and quality targets
